Cake with pastry cream and pine nuts

  • 400 g Flour dolci Cuore/Frumenta
  • 75 g butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 30 g icing sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Vanilla
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 package of pine nuts
  • Salt
  • 3 Yolks
  • Sugar
  • ½ l  milk
  • 50 g Flour


Put in a bowl the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and mix well.

Add the egg and butter.

Mix well with a fork until the dough becomes smooth but not completely compact and, if necessary, add a tablespoon of water.

Put half of the dough on a greased baking pan and pour over the custard.

Cover with the remaining dough and 0put on the pine nuts.

Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for 50 minutes.
