Easter cake



  • 400 g  Flour farina azzurra
  • 200 g  Sugar
  •          olio d’oliva/oil
  •          vanillin
  •          yeast
  • 4       Eggs
  • 250 cl Milk
  • 20 g  Butter
  •         Salt


Put an egg in a saucepan with cold water and bring to boil for 7 minutes, remove and allow to cool.
In a bowl, mix the flour with salt, baking powder and vanilla, add the remaining eggs, oil and sugar, mix everything together adding the milk until the dough is soft but consistent and homogeneous. Take a piece of dough.Put the remaining dough in a baking pan previously greased and floured. The dough aside form 5 sticks that will put two under the cross hole in the center of the bun, peel the egg and put it in the center of the bun. Place the egg on top.

Bake in preheated oven at 200 ° C for 40 minutes, let the cake cool before serving.
